LANDED..........
06-July-2013 (Fort Erie, Peace Bridge U-Turn)
Hi All,

I would to share my experience on Landing on Fort Erie, Peace Bridge, Niagara Falls.

Basically i have received COPR & Immigration Visa stamped on Visa.

I had 3 options to land,
1. Travel outside of the country and come back to complete the landing in the Airport
2. Go to Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge and get Administrative Refusal from US Border Security. (Please don't do this)
3. Go to Fort Erie, Peace Bridge, Niagara Falls (Best Option)

I choosed option 3, thanks to swahid for the detailed article http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/my-landing-experience-at-peace-bridge-fort-erie-t152323.0.html

The location of the place you need to make a U-Turn is as below,

Location Co-Ordinates: 42.907632, -78.913359

If you are travelling from GTA(Greater Toronto Area) in car, use the QEW towards Peace Bridge, Fort Erie.

Please keep the left most lane atleast 20km before the destination.

The first thing you need to notice is 50 KM Ahead sign, pay extra caution from this point

Exactly at the co-ordinates 42.907632, -78.913359 you will see Return to Canada board, (Yes you can land in Canada without going to US very for people who don't have US Visa)

But be very careful if you miss the spot then you have to go to US and get a Administrative refusal don't do it.

After this you will meet Border Security Officer and you have to let them know that you are here to complete your landing process and you have not went to US made an U-Turn in the spot.

Carry the passport with Immigration visa, COPR

Also all the original documents for safer side
Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, Bank Statement, Utility Bills, etc.,

You need to declare if you have brought any money from your native country.

Also carry 3$ CAD change to pay for the toll.

The whole process took me 30 min from entering the toll and completing the landing process for 4 people.

Hope! That's an awesome thing what you did.

I was trying to figure out the exact point where the U-turn can be made, but before this post, I wasn't sure. And the google street view doesnt show the street view near the border area.

But now its pretty clear - its literally where that white guard rail on the left ends - after the U-turn sign.

Thanks again.

I'd say if one cannot find the way to make a U-turn on crossing point - let him stay in US!

Just kidding, good luck to all :D

Hi,

Thanks, was breaking my head to find this place. Too much traffic, You should go as per swahid suggestion on Weekday.

I went on Saturday morning 8 AM and reached the spot at 10 AM. Finished all the formalities around 10:30 by GOD's grace.

By God's grace,I completed Landing on 14th Aug 2013.Thanks to all the information in this forum regarding landing at Peace bridge. It was really very helpful with pictures and co-ordinates.Although I had all the information with me, I was a bit of panicking, thinking what if I missed the white board for return to Canada.
For all those who are like me, I would like to share this, that you don't need to worry. As soon as you see the white building as mentioned in the earlier post, you will see a board saying last chance to enter canada..and at last a bridge. You will see "end of QEW hwy board " too...Before reaching the bridge, you will see this white post, just take a U-turn and then follow the information mentioned in another forum.I had my baby(Can. citizen) with me, at toll ,I was asked to show his identity proof, I had his pprt with me,gave it, they asked me to roll the windows down to see him...and all other formal questions asked...about goods and so on.
Inside the building: I took all the documents with me, but by God's grace I was not asked for anything.-except passports..not even my driving licence or work permit. I was asked to confirm my address verbally and that's all.I reached there at 8.30am , was out in 15 min.We ate a bit,fed my baby, started after 30 min, and back home.

I thank all the forum members who had been sharing their experiences as well as answering those panicky questions of all our colleagues. We will all reach there, believe in yourself, be positive and most of all Trust in God.He will never leave you nor forsake you.GOD is good.Jesus Loves you!

Friends,

I don't have a US Visa and didn't want to go to US side and get the administrative refusal letter.

I followed the instructions on this thread and became a PR on Jan 22, 2014 at 9.00PM. I didn't had to go to US side.

Please carry $3.25 change for the toll gate.

I thank you for all your wonderful support!

Hi All,

This program has been stopped you cannot do a U Turn. We went on 28-Jun-2014 and the immigration officer confirmed that you can do a U-Turn for landing. You must go to US to get an Administrative Refusal Letter.
