My US boyfriend of a few years is considering coming to Canada to reside with me for one year before we apply for his permanent residency as common-law.
If I am understanding this correctly, all he needs is a passport, correct? Will he still require proof of funds, and letter of invitation??
Because he is driving to Canada, not flying, will they require to know when he will be leaving?
