I have a bachelors in mechanical engineering from india with 3yrs of work experience. I am interested in pursuing a 2 year diploma in mechanical engineering from NAIT and other similar schools. I came across that international students with a bachelors degree have been rejected for visa, since this counts as a undergraduate course
Can people here confirm if my visa will get rejected if i apply for a 2yr diploma?

My aim of studying in canada is to get a PR. My bachelors score is 59% in indian grading system. I am not eligible for the masters program in most universities. Can you tell me what is the ideal path i should take? I wish to improve my skills at the same time have the best opportunity for a PR and a 2 year course is the best for this.
Also i ind that the diploma programs have better job scopes, masters is generally deemed over-qualified in most jobs. Hence i would ideally prefer a diploma.
Is this true? We are from the Philippines, my GF & I are planning to apply this May for September 2015 intake, she has been accepted to a school in Alberta this time for Business Administration - Accounting. She has a Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting & a Master's degree in Special Education, will this matter? Her credentials were evaluated, combining both degrees is just equal to a Bachelor's degree in Canada. TIA
