Hi, can someone please suggest how to track the status of passports after it has been delivered to vfs delhi.

Cant do anything. Just wait. You will get a msg n email saying tht
1. its dispatched to new delhi vac..
2. thn another stating its sent to ircc from vac
3. Thn a last one stating its under process at ircc.
All this will probably be within a week max.

After tht will be a long silence (aprox 3 weeks) during which u are waiting for your passport to be stamped and counterfoil generated.
No updates during this period.
Once it happens u will get a msg n email stating it has been dispatched from ircc office. Counterfoil will be generated by then or soon after.

The same updates u get in the msg is whts available in the vfs website - track your application page

I am reading above few posts about passport transmission ltr and PPR. My mom will be handing over envelope to Blue Dart today but didn't print the AWB email. Will there be a problem? I also thought they meant PPR. My mom is alone, I don't want to panic her and ask her to go to market to print the email. Please advise guys asap if it's OK to send without AWB email? Will Bluedart guy write AWB number on the envelope? Thanks

I sent it without the awb email. Its not required. I got my passport. if u want u cn write th awb in the corner of the envelope. Many didnt evn do tht i think.

Bluedart guy will directly stick the sticker with the awb. Tht too they may not do in front of us but its nothing to worry about.

I think I read a post somewhere on forum they give applicant copy of the slip/label..... is it true

They generally do. I got it. But i hv also read of people in other states who didnt get it but they were able to track same as everyone else. So dont worry about it too much.

Okay thanks, i appreciate your quick replies. Actually my mom is old senior living alone with no help, I want this final step to be hassle free for her, hence the worry.

I got both awb emails in 6 hours after submitting web forms. Wife’s was premium lounge paid 1072, kid’s was non premium paid 1689.
I would say you should submit webform again

I called on vfs customer care @912262018404(select option 1->8->*) told them to send me payment link for my daughter for which webform was raised on 3rd sept. They said it will come eod but I insisted that they should speak to supervisor and explain my situation that my wife’s passport is already at the embassy which they did and i got payment link while i was on the call with amount Rs 1689. This is the situation for many people and this might help someone.

Hi folks, I had sent my wife’s and kid’s passport to vfs and finally I received an email from vfs with tracking id and awb number, but that too only for my wife who is the principal applicant.

is it possible that the passports has gone in one package to ircc delhi.
Can anyone who had sent multiple passports confirm if they received back the passports in separate packages or one single package.

I raised on 1st sep but still waiting for payment link...its my second time to send. Before it they returned my passport for wrong photographs.

Hi there, Even Our passport was returned with the same reason, they did not precisely mentioned on what is wrong with photographs. We measured everything before sent. But Payment link pretty fast, just check with vfs customer care or check in spam, usually payment wont be that delay

No, its the letter VFS sends you, the one that contains the AWB number.

Did u submitt photograph as well with the package? As per instructions received from VFS "Completed package = Your Current & Valid Passport, Passport submission letter received from IRCC, Courier & SMS form duly filled, Consent form duly filled. " photograph is not mentioned.

please advise. I received my PPR (Study visa, SOWP & Child TRV yest)
