Hello, I did 6 months full time post graduation diploma (CDAC ACTS) along with bachelor of engineering.

Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years - Do I fit into this level of education?


Shall I evaluate 6 months post graduate diploma as well to apply for PR? Will it be helpful to increase the score?

Yes you are. Select 4 year degree as 4 year degree in level of education and 1 year pg course as "two or more certificates, diploma or degree"

Definitely you can't choose "two or more certificate" because the second diploma must be obtained after at least one year of studies.

I agree with this. This table shows that the minimum for your second credential is 1 year: cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/ECA_table_EN.pdf

I have a related question.
What if I did a 1 year diploma, but I got advanced standing for 50% of it as part of my bachelor's degree ?
(In more detail: the diploma is 8 units, but I'd already completed 4 of those units during my bachelor's degree, so I received the diploma after completing only 4 additional units.)
Would this still count as a 1 year diploma ?

My friend's situation is that he finished his bachelor's degree last 2006. Since working, he also finished a diploma course and an advanced diploma.

His ECA results show the three:
Bachelor's Degree (4 Years)
College-level Post Graduate Certificate (1 Year)
Diploma (2 Years)

Can he declare "2 or More Post Secondary" in his EE Profile? Thanks in advance!
