Hi! My mother is preparing her documents for Visitors Visa in Canada. Normally for tourist visa, CiC does not require a medical exam. However, my mother had tuberculosis last year but was already cured. June 2014, her chest x ray was already clear and she stopped medication. In the Application for a Temporary Resident Visa form, if she says yes to the question "did you or any family member had tuberculosis in the past 2 years" , but will provide proof such as chest x ray result and film, doctors certification that her tb was cured, does she still need to undergo medical exam? Thanks
