TRVs + spousal sponsorship

Hi guys, i sent the application in April 2020 under spousal sponsorship and no news since. At this stage, just be patient and wait. How ever, Can i apply for TRVs for my wife to come in canada (quebec) to visit me? Ever since the pandemic, many borders are closed, that's why i can't fly over to visit her.
What are the chances to success?
What if it fails? will it have a negative impact on spousal sponsorship?

Rejection of TRV won’t affect your application.

It would have no effect on sponsorship unless you did something silly like lie.

Can't speak to chances. Before COVID-19, it was next to impossible for a spouse to get a visa. With COVID-19, there is some allowance for reunification. Can't say how much.

I was trying to go through the forms and questions online, one the questions is : How much $ will you bring to canada? proof such as bank account, businesses" to be honest, she doens't have much. will this affect?

Yes likely will impact. You essentially have to prove that she has strong ties at home and is onlt coming for a temporary visit.

One’s attempt to visit each other while sponsorship application is in progress has no negative impact . If one provides genuine reasons for visit that is your justification.
Reasons for rejection of TRV in no way acts as a flag against genuine relation.
Any married , mature and genuine couple would like to visit and there is nothing wrong with it. This is my opinion.

If you look at my response I was answering a question about not having much money and whether that could affect TRV application.

If I dont have strong proof, shall i apply still? or dont' even bother? It's so terryfing that we are unable to visit our half due to the bordure closure.
