TRV (visitor) - Seattle consulate office

Can some one please give me the link to what application forms i need to send for visitor visa to seattle office, we used to send it in buffalo but since the office there is closed now i heard u have to send it to Seattle,US? ..Also is the application form is IMM5257 ? and u have to attach a proof of funds, 2 photographs, ur passport, document check list? what else? I have my visitor extension till nov 2014, i m staying with my daughter in ottawa who is in work permit till nov 2014, she initally was an international student and after graduation now on work permit? The ottawa case processing centre i heard only deals with students with study permit and work permit? they do not handle visitor visa application? Please let me know as I have to travel back home asap.

I would have said that living in Ottawa, Detroit or New York. But I looked at the processing office and the follow was shown if you are residing in Canada.

Visitors in Canada, who require a TRV, can no longer submit their application to a visa office in the United States when applying from inside Canada. They must apply either to the visa office responsible for their country of nationality, or to a visa office in a country in which they are present and have been legally admitted.

yes thats what i read too :s...so does that mean i need to send my passport in ottawa centre? because my last visa expired on july 31 2012, and i have a valid stay till nov 2014 as a visitor

No, if that quote is correct, then you must send it to your home country. You can only send it to Ottawa if you have a valid study/work permit.
