Applied TRV visa for my wife in November 25th 2021 gave Biometrics on Janurary 3rd. After that no updates. When I contacted cic via webform, I got response stating that Canada wont process visitor applications unless it falls under exemption and only then the cases are prioritized. Any one recently had their visitor applications processed and how long did it take? I dont want to sponsor PR and wait for one whole yr so thats why I applied visitor application

Applied online on - 25th Nov 2021
Gave biometric on - 3rd Jan 2022
It's been 2 an half month after biometric and still no response from ircc.

Did anyone apply visitor visa during this time?
And did you get any response or did your visa got approved?
Please help by posting some information regarding visitor visa.
