I am on my PGWP, I applied for TRV cause I am going on Vacation. My PGWP validity is until 2026. When I received my TRV stamp it was until 2029 but my passport will expire in 2031. Technically they gave me 6 years of TRV, which I am grateful for. Is that common I thought you will receive 10 years or it was based on my PGWP? Has anyone received less than 10 years?

My son got a TRV valid until 2031, with a study permit valid until June 2024. I got a TRV valid until the expiration of my PGWP, Sept 2023. My wife got a TRV valid until 2031, with a SOWP validity the same as my PGWP validity (Sept 2023). All our passport were renewed the same time and TRV application applied the same time.
