TRV stamp for visitor visa extension within Canada

I am a Work Permit holder and my wife is on Visitor Visa as my dependent. She got Visitor Record extended. How can she now get extended visa stamped on her passport. Previous stamp was valid till old passport's expiry. She has got a new passport, therefore fresh stamp is needed.

So her TRV has expired? If so she applies for a new one, outside of Canada. She has a visitor record so can remain in Canada.

Thanks for reply. So as I understand, if she has to travel outside Canada, then she will have to apply for TRV there and get it before returning, right?

She is on a TRV, not study or work permit, so cannot apply inside Canada.
