TRV Processing Time

Hello!

I was wondering whether processing times are counted as business days, or all days. My husband has applied from Lebanon and the processing time is 21 days, but it has now been several days after this and he has not received any emails and there have been no updates on the application. Does anyone know if there is an issue? Could the internal technical issue on CIC be the reason, or are they counting on business days, or anything else?

Natural days.

Timelines posted are an estimate and a courtesy. They are not meant to be more than a guide, and there is no commitment to fulfill them.

Also keep in mind those timelines are the result of 80% of the applications being addressed. That means 1 out of 5 WILL go over those estimated times.

Is there possibly a maximum amount of days?

I have a new concern. My husband called CIC Call center to check for the status of his application. He chose option 8 for visitor visa, and they said that applications submitted after a certain day in October 2015 have not been yet processed and the wait time is 130 days. However, then he continued on to check his own application status after entering his application number and birth year. They said that the application is currently being processed, and they said to check the processing time online (which should be 21 days for Lebanon). I'm now quite confused! Are we really waiting 130 days?
