TRV Main Purpose (Business or Tourism)?

Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to apply for Canada TRV but i'm not sure what option shall i select under Visit Visa.

I've planned to stay 16 days in Canada. Travelling on 4th and returning on 20th in 2020. I've registered for a conference which is on 15th of the month for one day only. I will be applying for my wife's visa as well, for her i will select the option of "Tourism".

Now since the stay is for 16 days and conference (fees is paid by me and its my work nature related), is only 1 day (i also have invitation letter) and remaining days are for tourism. In this case when majority is tourism, shall i select the option of "To conduct business" or "tourism" or "Other"?

Please advice.

I was thinking to put "tourism" for myself as well, because i'm paying for the conference and 90% of the trip is for tourism.

What are your thoughts?
