TRV extension from India

Hello,
I am currently a student in Canada. I recently extended my study permit as per my program requirements. I wasn't planning to leave Canada before graduation and so forgot to renew my TRV. But now in an emergency, I have to travel to India for a month and I do neither have a valid TRV nor the time to get it updated from within Canada.

1. Since I have a valid study permit, will I be able to renew my TRV from New Delhi, India?
2. How long does it typically take?
3. Do I need to provide complete financial details for a year or just the remaining months of my studies?
