I submitted my trv online application on May 6 and I have received no update. In my CIC, the application is still open. I am getting worried because cic processing time indicates they are working on May 7 applications within Canada.

Since they are processing May 7th already, I was expecting atleast a passport request by now

"In process" is very broad, it does not mean someone is specifically working on it all the time, it means that it is at least in the queue waiting for someone to take care of it (which is part of a "process").
Yes, online applications in Canada can take from 1 week to 9 weeks (mine took 5 weeks).
I applied online within Canada may 6.. its been 20 days(past the current processing time of 18 days) and they started processing may 7th application on may 21st..

I login my cic account a million times a day. I am getting so worried. cuz I heard my friends got replied in 10+ days last year.

me too within Canada. I hope you hear back soon. will keep u posted if I have any updates. All I have had is two emails saying my application has been updated but no change in myCIC. did this happen to u?
Same here. I got emails saying my status changed but when i log in, it's still the same thing.
I called the call centre like 5 times already and they don't know anything and they can not speed up the application.
I e-mailed them and the automatic reply says they will get back to me in 20 working days... That is so late
how many update emails have u got so far? yes its already been a while and past 20 days processing time..i am going to wait for a while. then probably withdraw and resubmit
