hello to everyone who reads this.
I am a Canadian citizen. I got married 4 months ago, my wife already has the visa of Canada so she came with me and we start inland sponsorship process in Montreal, Quebec about a month ago. The process has started.
Now I just got the news last week that my wife is pregnant. She does not have health card or any insurance. so I don't know what to do. My group insurance from my company also does not cover any maternity experience..
Is anyone has gone through this experience and have any solution please share.

You should have gotten insurance for her. This is likely to be an expensive mistake.

Now is the time to start saving for the costs of delivering the baby, OR having her return home and you can wait to re-start the process after she delivers.

How about getting her a travel insurance?
Has to be purchased before entry to canada and probably wont cover birth

Unfortunately this is a common scenario. People have not considered that they will not have healthcare during the spousal sponsorship process. Did you wife apply for OWP? She will also need CSQ. If she gets OWP you will need to follow-up with RAMQ about whether she needs to be working for a certain amount of time to get health coverage. Still may not come in time but an option. She will also likely not receive maternity payments because she needs to work 600 hours in the year before the birth.
