Tricky situation!

Hi

I started working in Canada in Dec 2011 and went back to India in Feb 2013. My work permit expires on Dec 17 2013. I am currently on study permit doing my Post graduation in canada. My PR application was submitted on June 5 2013 and is under process. So can i apply for BOWP now? BOWP and study permit are totally contradicting each other

i do not think you can hold two permits at the same time,since you are studying full time at the moment your work permit has became VOID the date your study permit was issued.
but i suggest you do consult a GOOD immigration lawyer because the operational manual about BOWP does not clarify this part.

You can't hold a work and study permit at the same time.

just to make it more clear,if your student permit was issued after the work permit then the first has became VOID.
you can't hold two status in canada.
