So I'm planning to travel to Antigua in August and I don't have a TRV [I'm not Antiguan]. I have applied in May but the wait time is 200+ days which is ridiculous. I'm thinking of just going on the trip without the TRV and submitting a webform while I'm there so they can expedite my application. The issue is that Antigua does not have a VFS office, so if CIC was to even respond to my webform, I would have to travel to Barbados to get the passport stamped.
An issue is that I am under a PGWP and I work remotely as an Independent Contractor for an American company, so I don't have a physical office in Canada as I work from home. I'm wondering if that is going to cause issues when I submit the webform asking for my TRV application to be expedited because I have to return to work/
I just wanted to get some feedback to see if there's something I'm missing or not thinking about with this plan. I would really appreciate your input if you have any, thanks!
