Travelling while waiting for first PR Card - Visa exempt country

Landed at Rainbow Bridge last Saturday. Now I’m wondering if I’m going to be able to travel to the US in July and UK at the end of August. From other posts in the forum I understand that it’s not possible to get an urgent PR card for the first PR card.

Would it be possible for me to come back to Canada on a plane as I’m from a visa exempt country?
Or do I have to get a travel document or come back by car from the US?

Yes as far as I know you can travel back to Canada on plane without PR card if you are from visa exempt country. But You should confirm it with CBSA officer. Below is the link. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/contact/bis-sif-eng.html

Thank you. I just spoke to a CBSA officer and he refered to the the CIC Immigration website and that it is stated there that it would not be possible for me to come back by plane without a travel document. He mentioned that this is an Immigration issue and not a Border Services issue.
