My wife just got a multiple entry visa to Canada and is planning on visiting next summer. Although, she is interested in going to Mexico city to a Public health Conference in February, we looked up visa requirements to Mexico and all foreign nationals holding a Canadian multiple entry visa are exempt so technically she doesn't have to apply for a Mexican visa. The only question we do not have an answer for is: Does she have to travel to Canada first before using the visa to go to Mexico or that doesn't matter? I know some countries require that you travel to the country that issued the visa first before you can actually use the visa to enter their territory I just don't know if that applies to Mexico. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks
