Travelling to canada 10 days before expiry of the TRV on multiple visa

Im in a strange situation: so my parents are travelling to Canada and my mom's TRV is expiring in 10 days after their travel date. She has renewed her passport and is travelling with the TRV in the old passport. Will she have any issues?

She must travel with both passports. She probably won't have any issues because of this. And, of course, how long she is allowed to stay would depend on the officer at the POE

There's no rule. They are allowed to travel until the day their TRVs expire

Ths is my moms second visit and in her first visit noone stamped her passport. I was accompanying her and we just scaned her passport and that was it. Did we miss anything or thats how it works in Vancouver. ( I am a canadian citizen and my mom was visiting canad for the first time on her multiple visa)
