Travelling outside canada while processing PGWP

Hi everyone! I do appreciate your help advisong of the feasibility of travelling outside Canada with the below conditions:

I am an international student and My study permit expired on August 8th. I had applied for my pgwp on May 1st and I received the confirmation note that allows me to work for any employer untill a decision is made on my application. Now I am thinking of traveling to my home country in September while my pgwp is under processing. I do have a valid visitor visa till 2025.
What does the protocol say about this? Will I be allowed to re enter Canada?
