Travelling outside Canada After uploading photos in the portal

Hi All,

I have to Travel outside Canada for some reason,

I have uploaded the photos in the portal and acknowledged that I am in canada,
I guess after this I will receive the eCoPR and PR card,

Can I Leave Canada now?
I was in Canada while acknowledging in the Portal, So I guess it should be fine, If I travel outside now ?
Please let me know.

This is a good question. I mean you're free to travel and everything, but what they will do is a mystery. They may:

• Issue ECOPR, in which case you would need a PRTD to return (unless crossing into Canada by private vehicle). The problem here is that getting the PRTD could take a while
• They may defer your ECOPR until you return by asking you to email them with evidence of returning (passport stamps etc.)

My personal preference would be to wait till you get the card in your hand.
