travelling outside Canada after submitting e-APR

Hello ,

I am currently working in Canada on an open work permit ( for spouses) and it is valid till April 2018 and I have a full-time job. I got the ITA under CEC category and I will be submitting e-APR next week. I am planning to go to India in March 2016 for 10 days to attend my brother's wedding. I was wondering if there's any rule that prevents an inland applicant from leaving Canada while PR application is under process.

Since you are on a permit, you would need a TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) in order to return back to Canada.

Check on your passport, what current valid visas you have. If you have a Multiple Entry Visa (Any type, e.g. S-1, W-1 category) then you are good.

yes i have a multiple entry visa valid till april 2018.
