I live in Windsor, Canada on a PR and work in Detroit, Michigan on H-1B. I commute via tunnel and go to my office in Detroit. I am a full-time employee. It has been going smoothly. However, I have to undertake an upcoming business trip to couple of different cities on the US west coast to meet some customers for sales discussion for a week. I will be flying out of Detroit airport. Do you think declaring this purpose of my trip can create problems at the border crossing and what all docs should I carry? Normally, I just carry my passport with H-1B visa stamped.
