Traveling to U.S.

Hello,

I understand this is a Canadian Visa forum but I posted this question on the American forum and unfortunately could not get any answers. If anyone knows anything about this, I'd ne grateful.

I am a Canadian P.R. traveling to the States this month. My passport expires end of November. I understand that to enter the States my passport must be valid for 6 months. However, should my passport be valid for 6 months during my stay as well?
