Need some inputs here.

1. I got an ITA on September 6. And I have time until December 5 to submit my application.
2. I got my PCC for India and Medicals done in early September.
3. My FBI Identity check application was delivered on September 5. It doesn't look I will get the report before the three-month deadline. I'm planning to submit my application with an LOE and submit the FBI report as soon as I get it.
4. In the meanwhile, I had to travel to Mexico on business twice. I may have to go again in early December. And then to India in late December for my H1B visa stamping.
5. Can I travel while my application is under process? Do I have to get new PCCs after I complete these travels?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Assuming your current country of residence is the States you wont have to get a new PCC.

If you do not submit your eAPR before travelling to India you will have to get a new PCC.

You have to wait close to Dec 5 to submit without PCC, like Dec 2 to Dec 4. Cause You cannot put a possible LOE for anticipated delay of US PCC.

If you dont visit India until late december you dont need another PCC, and you dont have to provide another one after AOR.
Any short trips before AOR and after ITA need to be specified in Travel history, thats all.

If you try to submit now without PCC with LOE, It may get rejected, check the portal for recent rejections. We have seen one case.

Hello ,

I have the same question, I got the ITA in Dec, I also applied for my Indian PCC and US PCC after ITA. Meanwhile, I traveled to India for 2 weeks in Jan on business trip. Do I need to apply for new Indian PCC?

According to CIC website, it states

" For any other country, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you stayed there for 6 months or more in a row. "

Ideally the above statement means only if we stayed in India for 6 months during the last visit.

Can someone clarify the PCC requirement then ??

Thanks
Neha
