Travel to Canada Early on Study Permit

Hi,

I had applied for a study permit for Winter 2020 session but unfortunately, due to delay in study permit processing, I missed this term and deferred to the next intake. Now I have revised LOA for September 2020 and valid visa. Is it possible to travel on this visa just for visit purpose and then re-enter again near my term and get the study permit from the port of entry?

No just chill till like July ending or August so when u enter u get ur study permit straight up

Congratulations, I personally know someone who was turned away and told to come back later. My take is not to arrive more than a couple weeks before the intake starts.
