Hi Folks - My parents are here in Canada on a visitor visa and I am planning to extend their visa (apply for visitor record). Once they are on their extension, we might have to travel to the US (They have US visitor visa). My question is, could they re-enter Canada using their visitor record?
The information below implies it but doesn't mention explicitly. So wondering if anyone in a similar situation in the past can share their experience https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/extend-stay.html

Depending on how long they have been in Canada they may or may not get a visitor extension. There is often more risk leaving and reentering Canada if your parents have already spent significant time in Canada because they could be refused reentry. How long have they been in Canada?

Ok that’s not very long so they should be able to travel to the US if they have been in Canada for less than a year and they have proof of their home abroad.
