Dear All,
Quick question. Is there a restriction on travel to home country (India) post AOR? My AOR is Dec 30.
I am on Post graduate work permit plus Temporary Resident Visa. Please share your thoughts.
Cheers
Thank you bud.
Do I need to inform CIC about this travel?
Another thing that I was reading is Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Do I need to take this before I make travel plans to India?
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta.asp
This eTA is quite a dilemma.
I don't know if this helps, but I traveled to after my AOR and I also received PPR when I was in India.
After returning to Canada I sent my Passport to Ottawa and I didn't face any problems.

eTA is for visa free countries citizens, simple concept if you hold a passport from a country that needs a visa to travel to canada then you are not suppose to apply for eTA and on the other hand if you hold a passport from a country that doesn't need a visa to travel to Canada then you have to apply for an eTA.
For indian passport holders, eTA is not required.
