I was in a similar situation. I traveled to the U.S. and came back on TRV as a visitor. As I traveled outside Canada, I lost my maintained status and hence stopped working now. Still waiting for approval for my work permit application.

Thanks I came to know that will loose the maintained status. But what status you will be on then? It’s like staying without status right?
