Hello, Everyone. I returned to my home country without receiving PR card. There was an objection on the dimensions of pictures. I couriered new pictures to CIC from my home country. CIC was taking so long to process my PR card request. Therefore I applied for PR travel document which will expire on 15th July 2017. In the meanwhile, CIC issued my PR card and couriered to my Canadian address. My parents carried this card while traveling to my home country. Now I have both, the PR card and Travel document. Actually, I am planning to travel one week after the expiry of my PR travel documents. Now my question is to confirm if it will be okay to travel on PR card considering that the PR card was carried by my parents while I was outside of the Canada and I have a PR travel documents as well.

Awaiting your replies.

Thanks

You have a valid PR card in your hand so not sure why makes any difference how you got your new card at least was hand carried safely to you by your parents, many people have to rely on the mail or a courier. With a valid PR card you are good to travel.

I am just concerned because I have already applied for travel document which is going to be expired before my travel but I have valid PR card that is being carried by my parents. Is it legal that someone else bring your PR card?

You are concerned for no reason. It was perfectly fine for your parents to bring your PR card to you.
