Once an applicant from a non-visa exempt country (Philippines) receives their PR visa & joins their spouse in Canada, then gets their PR card, will that be acceptable for entry to visit the USA (i.e. with CDN PR card & Philippines passport in hand), and with or without the CDN spouse?
No - unfortunately you will still need to obtain a US visitor visa to visit the US. Having a Canadian PR card won't change this entry requirement.
So basically just do the ESTA process then, or is there more to it? I learned last time crossing into US by car that they no longer require ESTA, the guy said only when flying.
