I am using the online portal and seem to be having trouble with the travel history section. Maybe this could be a glitch?

In section 5.5 when I enter a same day trip I get the message " "from" cannot occur after "to"

How am I supposed to log trips where I left Canada and returned to Canada on the same day?

There's used to be a form where one can download and fill. You can also create a spreadsheet on your smart phone and start recording your trips.

Yes, but I am having trouble with the PR Card renewal using the PR portal. It won’t let me enter same day trips in the IMM5444. If I download IMM5444 and open it in adobe it will allow to to enter same day trips no problems

As suggested in the other question that you posted, in a different thread...it could be another glitch to the online application.

Don't add more craziness by asking in multiple posts, since nobody here really knows what's causing the problem for you.

Maybe you could add an attachment showing those day trips, followed by some colorful language blaming their broken system for the attachment. LOL!

Is there a way to add attachments for this type of thing in the portal? Edit : never mind I see there is a way to attach letters of explanation and other documents as well

Quick question, is there a certain form to use to add supplementary travel info? I can only find IMM5562 which appears to be used for a PR application. Is a Microsoft Word document good enough?

Absolutely. Try to mimic the layout of the TH section, obviously, to make it as simple as possible for IRCC. Would suggest naming the document something logical, like "Addendum to IMM5444, section (whatever) - Travel History"

Perfect! and they will accept this being done in Microsoft word?

If it attaches, it's accepted! LOL!

Sad truth is...they probably won't even need/use it, but because you have to be so bloody precise with your travel history...I feel bad for the tree that died for that paper.

Note, for editing such documents, fine to use microsoft word - or really any program at all, photoshop if you want - but to actually SUBMIT, better to print/save as a PDF and attach in that form.
