I received my PR in 1992, left Canada in 2000, before PR cards were available. I have been accompanying my Canadian Citizen husband since then while he has worked outside Canada. We are planning to return but I do no have a PR card. I last entered Canada in Nov. 2007 for a week only. I've read that a travel document will sufice all requirements, since I have been with my husband. In fact, we applied for one and was granted during a visit in 1998. Am I correct in feeling that I should have no problems obtaining a Travel Document?
Thanks for yoru time
You are right, you shouldn't have a problem. If you are staying a while this time, you might want to apply for a PR card. If you have tickets to leave Canada again, you could even ask for it to be expedited.
