TRAVEL DOCUMENT IN VIENNA

Im a PR but still dont have a PR card. I plan to travel to Europe, and I'll need a travel document from embassy in Vienna to return to Canada.

Does anybody know what is waiting time for it, or do you get it the same day you go to the offices in Vienna?

A woman in the embassy told me that it is the same day service if you come to the embassy in person or could be mailed which takes few days.
Basically, the same thing as stamping passports for visas.

Hi there,
I have kind of same issue. came back to Slovakia from Canada but my PR card is still under process. Coming back to CA in July 2016 and need this travel document to get back.
I am not sure if I can go there by person because somebody from slovak embassy in Bratislava told me that they (Vienna) do not accept "walk in" visitors and they will invite me if needed.
If I know that they will do it in few days I would send it with no worries. But if it is 4-5 weeks as someone responded to my email that is already too late.
Do you have any updates about this ?
