I expecting my duaghter's PR card this month. She is a US citizen, my question is can she travel out of country and come back with her visitor status....PLz help.....
No, CBSA wont allow your daughter to enter Canada. For your future references: all Immigration documents are VOID once they issue COPR and single entry visa for landing purposes.
Now you have 3 ways:
1) Land in USA, enter Canada via land crossing using COPR. (Most preferred).
2) Apply for travel document from outside Canada which can be lengthy procedure(I prefer it if option 1 not possible).
3) Tell someone to mail PR card. ( I wouldn't risk PR card through mail. If someone can get it to you then its ok)
The above is incorrect for the daughter since she is a US citizen and holds a visa exempt passport. She can certainly re-enter Canada without a PR card or Travel Document. The above applies to non-visa exempt passport holders only.
