Travel back without PR card

Hi, I am holding Hong Kong passport, and will it be possible to travel back to Canada without the PR card? Thanks.

As long as the airline let you board the plane, you may travel to Canada without a valid PR card.

Actually, I just sent out the application for the PR card renewal last month, and I just cant wait for couples months to get the new card...
