Hi, My PR card expires 15th March 2022. I'm planning overseas travel in November 2021. The government of canada site advises that if the PR card expires within 6 months you should apply for a new one. My problem is that if I apply now, I'm doubting whether I'll get the new card in time for my November travel. So my question is what are the implications of travelling back to Canada using a PR card that has around 3 months left on it. Will airlines stop me from flying?

No you won’t have a problem boarding the blame. Manypeople end up staying longer and then end up without a valid PR card which is why the government recommends you apply for a new PR card.
