Translation for Academic transcripts

dear all:

I 'm a new member to this forum and this is the first time I'm writing here

I am syrian living in Kuwait and graduate from of Faculty Civil Engineering-Aleppo university -Syria

my question is during to process of preparing my documents for Immigration under skilled workers

they asked me to get Educational credential assessment report ECA

I chose the WES company to do that, and they ask me that my institute to send them Academic transcripts directly

the problem here is my Academic transcripts is in Arabic language

and WES requires that they:

be issued by recognized educational institutions
be signed by, and bear the seal of, authorized officials
adhere to the standards (language and format) of the issuing institution

shall I translate a copy of the original transcript and give it to the university after I signed from authorized officals

then to send it directly to WES or what should i do?

translations should always be notarized (certified) translation, not by self.

ie. should bear an affidavit by the translator, and a notarized copy of the original bearing sign & stamp by the translator as well!!

1- should the certified translation be sealed from the ministry of foreign affairs?

2-can i take the sealed envelop from uni and send it my self to WES because my uni does not provide this services?

3- if i send the form that attached with academic transcripts without Ref No. is that ok ?

1. not sure, don't think so, I guess you can send these docs separately in the envelope

From personal experience - I didn't provide them with notarized copy of academic credential. Only sent clear photocopy as per their requirement. However, requirements may vary from case to case. What I've heard from some other applicants is what sealed envelope is not always accepted
What exactly is stated on WES site regarding your country? Does it say that transcripts is to be provided by institution?

it's not required as you mentioned, as per their requirement clear photocopy is required.

However, we are talking about the translation above. If a translator translates any document to English, a notarized copy of the original needs to be submitted along.

happy16, most probably you are right. Since my credentials already in English I haven't done thorough research on affidavit nuances yet.
I won't argue with you to avoid misguiding messages to the topicstarter

,you should put it in a separate envelope than the one sending by me to WES which contain a copy of my Bachelor certificate

i.e I should sent two envelops to WES ,is that right?

the problem here how can I told WES that these two envelops are mine?

shall I write the REF No. given by them when making the payments on both envelops?or what should i do?

if you are sending 2 envelopes, then definitely WES request form that University will put inside the stamped sealed envelope should have the reference number. also write the reference number on the envelope.

ask University if they can send it directly, tell them you will pay for the courier.
