Transition between SP & PGWP

Hi all,

I am currently enrolled in my final coop term. I recently just completed the hours needed and handed in all the documents in order to graduate from my program. Tho my program officially ends in August 2017, my confirmation of graduation letter will not be available till early Oct 2017. Will I be able to work full time before I apply for a PGWP during the transition period? (between sept to early oct since I cannot apply PGWP without the confirmation of graduation letter)
