Transit via UK with Canadian PR Documents

I am looking to transit via London Heathrow Airport to go to India. From what I know, Canadian PRs can transit via the UK. Unfortunately, I haven't received my PR card yet. Can I transit using my Landing Documents like CoPR?

If you have a visa for Canada, you don't need a transit visa. So the PR Visa & COPR would do just fine!

Heading to India or from India?

If you're coming from India to Canada, then yes, all you need is a valid Canadian visa. You don't need the CoPR to transit, though of course you have to carry it and show it if they ask you.

You need to get a PRTD if you don’t have your PR card and have landed already.

thank you for all your replies guys. i will be heading back to india from canada after soft landing...so do i need transit visa for london layover? i dont have pr card as I am traveling back to india the very next day after soft landing.

No, if you're going back to India you don't need a transit visa.

Actually, I think I'm incorrect. I checked again and you may well need a Direct Airside Transit Visa since your Canadian visa will no longer be valid.
