I am in US with furniture and other stuff. My friend is in Canada. He can't come to US (he doesn't have visa) but he can come to Canada border. I can go to US border. Let's just say I don't wanna cross the border.
Is it possible to legally handover my stuff to my friend, after inspection by border customs and all the paperwork, without both of us crossing the border?
Help is much appreciated!
According to me it would be liable for customs duty.
I suggest to call CBSA agent at :

Agreed with Wilson. You will have to pay duty.
Thanks for your replies guys. I'll call CSBA as well.
I'm more than happy to pay duty.
All I want to know is if it's possible and easy without the need for me or my friend to cross the border. Would we be able to meet (e.g., in a parking lot of customs office) where I hand things over to him?
I see what you're asking now. No - that's not possible. Either one of you has to cross the border. Or you'll have to pay a shipping company to take everything across the border. There's no place to meet in between (the customs parking lot is for customs matters only - don't try to use it for anything else unless you want trouble).
