I have made some research before starting a new topic and I did not find concrete answer to my question.
Here is the situation:
My area of expertise is information technology and I enrolled Cisco Academy few years ago.
Cisco Academy is a networking academy (vendor specific) which lasted for approximately 10 months and 280 hours.
I have got a certificate of training and after that I passed the main exam (granted with Cisco CCNA certificate).
Therefore, my question is: Is this certificate belongs to the Trade certificate or not? If not, what kind of certificates belongs to the Trade certificates?
Wikipedia says:
"Professional certification, trade certification, or professional designation, often called simply certification or qualification, is a designation earned by a person to assure qualification to perform a job or task."

I don't think so.
Trade certification basically means that you have passed some exam from a competent Canadian authority and obtained a license to practice a certain trade. CCNA etc are professional certifications, they may make your resume look more attractive to potential employers, but do not qualify as far as a Canadian PR is concerned.

For example, in India, a lot of people do ITI courses for different trades, like, electrician, mechanical etc. That is one example of trade certification.
