Agree that TR to PR was likely only created because IRCC wanted to limit internarional travel but wanted to meet their PR target numbers. IRCC created programs that targeted those who were already in Canada working or studying. There is already enough programs and demand to meet the PR targets. A lot of the TR to PR programs made it much easier to get PR which I don’t think IRCC wants. For example many were able to stop their studies and get PR or apply for PR without working in Canada.

No I think they are releasing now in the 2024 it said it will be there in their new immigration plan of 2024. And also you had to graduate or had some work experience to get in the TR TO PR

Believe the changes they are referring to are to FSWP and how category of job will be a bigger factor that just points where you can end up with a lot of skilled people you don’t need. Also emphasis on PNP. Have seen nothing about TR to PR coming back especially similar programs that existed during the pandemic. It was mainly to be able to land 400k PRs without people having to travel. Liberals couldn’t stop talking about landing 400k PRs even during the pandemic.
