We applied my Mom for Multiple Visa on June 17,2013 got confirmation recieved after sending...July 7,2013 got an email from CIC and it was refused due to insufficient fund to stay in Canada and assets from PHilippines...We applied again today JULY 10,2013 5:40pm Vancouver time and got an email from CIC after 4hrs requesting for PASSPORT..
If you are a Filipino or Filipina and you want to come to Canada on a tourist visa, do not waste your time applying.
I wasted 2 days filling out all the paper work for my wife, and even deposited 5000$ in her personal bank account to make sure she had enough funds for a month trip, and the visa was refused in 24 hours after applying online. The embassy of the Philippines took my 75$ and flushed my application with no chance of explanation. I am a Canadian, with a good job, and sufficient funds to take of my wife for a short 1 month trip, however CIC has decided that my wife could not come to Canada, because she does not have a job in the Philippines. I have found a solution to see my wife in the meantime, I have moved to the Philippines!!!!
