Hello,
My friend wants to visit me to Canada she is married and has a kid but she would come alone.
Is it convenient apply for the visa only for herself? Or the whole family should apply despite the invitation letter would be only for her?
Looking forward for your advice
thanks,

When you say "whole family", is that your friend + kid or are there more?
Either way, I would think her application would be stronger by not including kid. If kid is left behind, that's a more compelling reason for returning home.
Yes I meant to say my friend, husband and kid. So would be ok just sent the invitation letter to her and she can apply for the visa for herself.

Yes, your friend alone to apply for the visitor visa for herself only.

Thanks, My other friend is just married without kids, would be the same for her too?

If her husband would be left alone in the home country.
