tourist visa and permanent resident application

hello guys. i'm in family class...under dependant...and i sent my papers ...for permanent resident in vienna last month...so that probably goes for 8 months right...so my partner recomended that i try come in canada right now like tourist on tourist visa..so what you think..is that smart..because..i would tell them that im in permanent resident proces...and i just gonna go and see my boyfriend and come back...but whether it's worth it...do you think i get visa....or not.

First of all : is your bf sponsoring you? If yes, wouldnt you have to apply either as common law or spouse?
Eitherway : Ive heard and read here on the forum that some peoples visitor visa get refused because CIC thinks youre going to stay with your boyfriend and you dont intend to leave Canada.
But if you can show proof of strong ties to your current country eg rental agreement,letter of employment and most important you already got a return ticket when you enter Canada you might have a chance.

Im pretty sure more experienced people are gonna chime in though
