I'm a 23 year old female student from Mexico City. I'm starting school in Toronto at the beginning of January and I'm currently looking for a one-bedroom or studio apartment/basement (not shared) to move into. I'm responsible, friendly, respectful and hard-working, I don't smoke or have any pets.
Close to downtown is ideal, preferably not farther up north than York. Size doesn't matter too much as long as it's clean, warm and has a kitchen and enough windows. Must be walking distance from TTC, groceries, etc. since I won't have a car. My budget is around $1200.
If anyone has any experience or advice from a similar situation or knows a realtor that could help me find a place I would really appreciate your help.
