i m jainul patel. I am in centennial college in biotech 3 year programme.i want to go in winnipeg in course of pharmacy technician. but next intake is augest 2017. and i have to wait till augest. now i have to pay fees for one more semester. which is actually worthless.is this possible that i can take a drop till my college will start?

Once you are out of school for more than 90 days - your study permit will be automatically canceled. Also, as soon as you drop out of school, you will no longer be eligible to work off campus.

And also school is 'bound' to report your status to CIC after changes made in study permit rules in June 2014.

First of all, you will obviously need to stop working as soon as you stop attending school.

Secondly, if you want to remain in Canada, you will need to change your status to visitor. You will then need to apply for a new study permit a few months before the August 2017 intake.
